SPF

An email authentication protocol that specifies which mail servers are authorized to send email for a domain.

Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is a DNS record that lists the IP addresses and servers allowed to send email on behalf of a domain. It helps prevent spoofing by allowing receiving servers to reject messages that claim to come from a domain but originate from unauthorized sources. SPF is one of the three core email authentication protocols alongside DKIM and DMARC.
